We have had a productive few days scooting around Provence to see the sights.
Orange to see Theatre Antique ( built in 27BC , the most impressive Roman site in France) Avignon, Nimes, Pont du Gard to see the Roman aquaduct & of course a visit to Provence would not be complete without climbing to the summit of Mont Ventoux ( and you can hold the applause; for we drove not road. Too many excuses and not enough guts! One day........).

Chateauneuf-du-Pape is beautiful and it's the premier wine growing regions in the world. I made the most of it :).
Fantastic food and a beautiful landscape made our stay in Provence a lovely memory.
Now we are in Carcassone and shall explore the area tomorrow. It's just north of the Pyrenees, so the Spanish influence is obvious and we're staying above a tapas bar. Guess what's for dinner tonight!!! 
