Well not sure how but we managed to survive the train. It was pretty minging but after we had shoed the flies away and removed the dirty sheets from the beds it was kinda manageble. . .On the plus side if we forgot where we were the beds were quite comfy!! Yesterday we spent having a walk around and then spent the morning on the beach. After lunch it then spent most the afternoon raining so was quite a chilled afternoon chatting etc. Today we had a lazy morning and got some supplies for our second overnight train experience, wish us luck as this one is ment to have mice and nasty bugs! We went on a tour of the tunnels that were used during the Viet nam war which we have both really enjoyed. We stopped off at a factory that we weren't really sure if it was a handicap or handicraft factory but yes it turned out to be both! It was great to see the hand painting of all the beautiful bowls, tiles etc This night was spent on an over night train to Nha Trang. Not the first choice of sleeping arrangements but we survived!

Today we travelled to Saigon and had a walk around before meeting up with the new people who have joined our group for the Vietnam section of our tour. We ate street food and surprisingly all remained tummy bug free!! We had some cocktails and dancing in the backpackers area of the town. We have crossed into Vietnam and we are staying in a small town tonight close to the border. We have had a wonder along the banks of the Mekong river, and around the market.
