Lots of waterways through the city, a bit like Venice only with cars. We parked and unfortunately didn't take enough time to understand the parking rules resulting jn a parking ticket for 58 euros.

There are 19 windmills together at Kinderdijk from the original 20 built to pump the water out via a complex series of waterways, so that the land was habitable. We went inside one and cycled the three our four kms between them all.
