I had to wait in one of these lines for over an hour and a half, even though I thought I'd showed up first thing in the morning, around 9:30, for a museum that opened at 10. Tour groups kept waltzing in, bypassing the wait, which of course slowed down the lines. And here, in one of the world's greatest museums, a cracked window.
