Loved the pictures of the elephants, I'm was very envious o9f the orangutans but elephants as well-how lucky are you.Sounds as though you are still thoroughly enjoying you travels-can't believe you will be home soon.
No news here really, Katie has been home from uni for 2 weeks and is flying off to Germany for a week to stay with a uni friend. James is trying hard to finishe course work. Andrew, you will be impressed with his last chemistry module mark-quite a suprise!. Nan and Grandad came for lunch yesterday, they are both well.

How beautiful looks to be your travel !! I hope you are still good and have a lot of fun. Take care, I hope see you somewhere. Hi Guys..
Just thought I would leave you a message becuase Graddas said you were feeling neglected! (whatever) You are the ones that ditched us to travel the world! Only joking guys. I love looking at your photos of Thailand. I have been showing one of my uni friends that traveled pretty much the same route you have and she said how much she misses it! I am certain that you two are still imensely enjoying it.
Time has flown and I cant believe it is only a couple of months and you will be back here in (very rainy and very cold) England!
Keep safe guys.. we still miss you both!

Hello Nobby and Sarah (I don't buy in to this Andrew business, you can't hide who you are Ginge! )
Further to our conversation yesterday I am acquiescing to your request for a message on your board. Quite what you want me to say I don't know, likely you just want the extra post to a: appear more popular or most probably b: to boost the site statistics you no doubt salivate over every time you venture into an internet cafe.
Anyway. I hope you're enjoying yourselves now you're getting into the SE Asian ways, and that Sarah you are managing to try lots of the food! Honestly, it is the best food in the world so you really should try everything. Perhaps not dog in China. Are you off to Laos soon? You can get a great mushroom pizza there... It is a great country actually. Very chilled, until you hit the lao lao that is. Loads of great history and temples. Looking forward to hearing what you think of it there.
I am attempting not to be too jealous as I haven't been bad until now. Asia is something else though and I always want to go back. I have about 15 mates out there at the moment so wouldn't be surprised if you ran into them. None of you lot are doing anything to make my job any easier at present. Which is currently, in case you are interested, working in internal communications at Warwick uni. I like it a lot. In fact I might start writing a blog filled with exactly what I've got up to day in day out. You'll like that. You can write me messages on there!!! We can be blog buddies.
Keep in touch. Love evermore,
Jess

Hello to the new Victor and Margaret Meldrew,
Never have I heard so much moaning about having fun! If it really is that bad out there, pack up, come home and get proper jobs. The long uncomfortable journeys are just like commuting, the uncomfortable lodgings are just like our homes now that we cannot afford to turn on the heating, the dirty beaches are just like our litter strewn streets and as for moaning about the rain come and experience the storms and floods we have to endure.
No wonder the people who have had to suffer your blog reports are queuing up to leave the country. I have been told the first batch of evacuees is ready to leave Liverpool on the QE2. Those using rafts on the river Wye will be able to join the QM2 at Bristol and those from the Midlands using the Grand Union Canal will be able to join the QV at Tilbury along with the overlanders from the Hayward's Heath area. For those of you unable to travel further plans will be announced at a later date, please be ready to act on instruction. There are already plans to extend the jam butty mines at Knutty Ash and to set up a series of bunkers in the Black Mountains. The advanced jet-ski party will attempt to open a route down the river Rea to the Tame and on to the open sea via thr Trent and Humber. If this route works Midlanders will be able to use this escape passage to await the return of the QE2. They will be transferred to the liner at sea under the cover of darkness, Captain Birdseye is to bring the Grimsby fishing fleet up to the Humber to enable the transfer to take place.
It is sad to report that an irate golfer has been seen rampaging on the Manning's Heath golf course swearing and abusing his golf balls. He has little pictures of Avram on each of the balls and as he belts hell out of them is heard to shout the most obscene 'b'word, "BARNSLEY".
I am not really mad , its just a panic attack because you are due to return in only three months and my HQ ( the Lifford) has been closed down, I am forced to drink Brew XI.
Have fun in Bangkok, watch out for the bed bugs and the lady boys.
Must go now the boss is back.
So little time, so much to do. Where did I leave my jet-ski???????????

Happy birthday Andrew, have been thinkimg of you a nd wondering where you are and what you are doing to celebrate the day. Many thanks for the last card sent from Oz. Have managed to keep up with you on the map, up to Brisbane, on to theBarrier Reef and on to Darwin. We have now turned the page and now on Singapore etc. to await the next travel chapter. The last lot of photographs were wonderful of Kuala Lampur, shame you could only afford one gin sling at Raffles. Keep on enjoying youselves and make the most of it because you have only got another four months...... Everyone here os fine.

Hi to you both, haven't posted a message for ages but keep following your news.
Happy birthday Andrew, hope you have a good one.
have spent the day with nan and grandad today, they are both well and continue to follow all your news. They were very pleased with their last card from Australia. James has gone up to stay with Katie at uni for the next few days. He went up on the train and is really looking forward to experiencing uni life-no sure that it's a good idea, especially when I heard Katie saying she'd got the beers in.
Anyway love to you both, keep safe and enjoy your noodles!!
Love Sue xxxx

Greetings to you both,
I hope you are well and enjoying the first few miles of your long journey home. Your tour of half the globe, especially the last leg to the outposts of empire has been a triumph. I spoke to my nephew in Australia and he said the celebrations are still in full swing even though you have left the country( or was it because you had left?). Anyway ,we the followers via the internet of your long holiday are getting all excited at the prospects of lots of educational blogs and interesting photographs of your jouney through the mysterious east. What we probably will get are pictures of Andrew getting drunk or Sarah in her swimming gear on the beaches of Thailand!!!! As you said before you left "it's a tough job but someone has to do it", so why am I at WORK while you are having fun?
Sorry but its time to get back to the grindstone. No comments about the footie to upset Grandpa except Barnsley for the cup.
