Hey everyone, just to let you know we have booked a 4 day Pantanal tour today, we will be going tomorrow so probably wont be in contact for the next 4 or 5 days. After that we should then be heading down to Foz de Iguacu hopefully this bus ride will be easier and quicker than the previous 2. Which combined lasted 47 hours, thats 47 hours in 3 days sitting on a little bus, with hard seats (no recliners or toilets) and lots of smelly people and screaming babies. Glad theres not a bus strike in Brazil (touch wood) at the mo.

Hey guys 2 bits of good news for you all.
Firstly Becca managed to leave her group and safely join us, we met her in Sucre the other night and she is now going to be with us for the rest of the trip through Brazil.
Secondly WE GOT OUT OF SUCRE at last, after 10 days of being there we got bored and the bus strike still didnt appear to be ending soon. So we got a taxi to where the camiones (little buses) leave and managed to get one of those to Santa Cruz. We left yesterday at quarter past 1 in the afternoon and arrived in Santa Cruz at 3 this morning. The bus had hard uncomfortable seats (not reclining), quite a few smelly people, lots of screaming babies and Anna also had to share her seat with a family of 4, both the kids were covered in a rash, so we were a bit concerned about catching something. All turned out ok though (no rashes yet) and we arrived in Santa Cruz (which is really nice) 9 hours before we originally expected, because we didnt understand what the driver said when we asked and thought we were going to be arriving at midday.
