This is the cathedral in the middle of the mosque. Carlos V approved it after much begging from the Church, but regretted letting them build it in La Mezquita once he saw how awesome it was. He said they could have built this cathedral anywhere (and had built many similar ones elsewhere), but that they had destroyed a unique treasure in their quest to turn the mosque into another cathedral.
