We left Montreal this morning to head to Quebec City. I was excited to be moving on to somewhere new. Not been up to much yesterday or today really. We`ve seen pretty much everything there is to see or that we`ve wanted to see in Montreal so we`re kind of just filling time until we leave for Quebec City on Monday. We went to the Montreal convention centre, or Palais des congres de Montreal today, which was worth going to see- the front of the building is made up of panels of coloured glass which look lovely from the inside as well as the outside. Yesterday we headed to Jean-Talon market in Little Italy but there didn`t seem to be a great deal around. Then we headed to the Sherbrooke and Beaudry areas as there was a couple of Art Deco buildings I wanted to see but again I was a little disappointed. We got up and out early today as we had a few things planned that we thought would take up most of the day. We caught the metro to Viau to see the Montreal Tower. It was was built as part of the olympic site/stadium and sports centre and is the highest inclined tower in the world.
