Hey we're in Queenstown now which is great! We're here for a while so it's nice to chill out and lay in bed for a bit longer in the mornings!! As soon as we got here we sampled the FERGBURGER which has got to be the best burger i have ever had!! We met quite a few people on the way down here which is good, there's a crowd of us now hitting the bars at night! I'll just write a bit about the places that we stopped at on the way down here.....

27th/28th Oct - We stayed in Nelson. On the 28th we did a five and a half hour walk around Abel Tazman National Park which had the most amazing views! We made our way from Torrent Bay to Marahau stopping off for a paddle in Stillwell Bay along the way....paradise!

29th Oct - We made our way to Greymouth. On route we stopped at Buller River for a photo opportunity, then walked along the Truman Track through the rainforest to the coastline. We also visited the Punakaiki Pancake Rocks. That night in Greymouth we stayed in Noah's Ark hostel where all the rooms were animal themed....ours was the kiwi room!

30th Oct - The Magic Bus took us to Franz Joseph today. Along the way we stopped at a greenstone factory in Hokitika, then further down the west coast at Ross we watched gold panning! When we arrived in Franz Joseph we climbed the glacier which was such an amazing experience! At particular points we had to shuffle in between huge sheets of blue ice! The views from our highest point were unreal and the whole day was one of the best i have had here!

So that brings you all up to date! We got the bus from Franz to queenstown and now we're here for quite a while....6 nights at least! I think we're gonna hire some bikes and do a few walks, i'm contemplating doing a canyon swing but im not sure yet.......i'll keep you posted!
