Tug of war in Salta!! After finally refusing to set am alarm & therefore waking late & a shower so hot it could melt plastic, I went on a traveller cheque exchange hunt. A seriously bling altar!!

Felt very smug as I left MAAM as tourists were queuing round the block when I had walked straight in!! That'll teach all those posh holiday makers having long, delicious lunches during siesta time. You snooze, you lose!! Sadly when the Cathedral opened at half 4 there was a mass dash of tourists across the square so my quiet appreciation was disturbed by hundreds of flash bulbs!
