There are many wonderful landmarks in Dubrovnik, but here I'll mention two the most interesting to me. The Pile Gate serves as the entrance to the ancient city of Dubrovnik. It dates back to the fourteenth century. You will be overcome by the magnitude of the walls when you stand near them. In fact, you will clearly understand why they have successfully protected the city from invaders. Sponza Palace dates back to the sixteenth century, and it stands next to a massive clock tower. In the seventeenth century, members of the Academy of the Learned used it as a meeting place to discuss science, literature, and arts.
