6 hours South of Lima are the very curious Nazca lines. Basically diagrams and lines drawn in the desert which date back as far as 300 BC. Not really sure what these massive diagrams mean but the best answer we heard was they were drawn to worship the water god , so we will go with that. So the best way to see these illustrations is from a teeny tiny 4 seater plane that weaves left to right so quick giving us some awesome motion sickness :)
