Termites make for a good insect repellent. Leave your hands on a nest , then squash the ants into your hands and you've got a natural insect repellent.

Does it work back in Australia too? I always feel bad squashing ants after watching 'honey i shrunk the kids'. That ant was sooo cute....and yes i know it's not real.
