Argggh your blog brings back so many memories! And I agree with the kids - what the heck are those europeons thinking when they rave about those beaches??! They don't know where paradise is - and don't you tell them! Enjoy Rome - if you think the driving has been challenging so far - wait till you get there!!! Watch out for the crazy motorbikes :-)

Amazed at how far you seem to travel in a short time as we have visited many of these places and know how long it takes to get round them . what fantastic memories you are creating. just to let you know Laura has secured her first teaching job. First interview -61 applicants. so chuffed for her. Maybe I can retire early and join Alec!

Yes NZ is buzzing with the All whites making history. Awesome. Sunday will be interesting! One of my students asked for ideas on a persausive speech. I said what about trying to convince people to watch rugby rather than soccer. They said no to that idea. Weather here has been yuk, but gorgeous today. We had a brillant weekend up at the beach. We actually swam as it was warm and the storm bought in waves to hihi so my brother, Henry and tim had a surf. the erosion wall is fantastic! We are on count down to go to Raro. Can't wait to get some warm sun. Loving the blogs. Love toni xx
