Easter Island, Chile
The fourth full day on the ship was scheduled as a cruise-by of Easter Island, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We expected to be there from about 4 – 6 p.m. As it turned out, we arrived by 2:30 and went straight to the main village of Hanga Roa on the west coast to disembark a "seriously unwell" passenger. We left home by 12:30 for a 2:30 p.m. flight and got there, parked, checked in and through security well before the flight was ready to board. It was perfectly on time. After dinner at the airport in Houst...
