Have you gone into hibernation or have communications broken down. An up-to-date blog from you is long overdue.
Your Gran goes off to Barcelonia next week - no not permanenty but with her sister Dorothy to visit Leslie (her son) who lives there. She is a week late to see Man. United soundly beaten! Shona shoots off to Singapore in a weeks time - she has been told there is a very good bed and breakfast place there and that the landlord and landlady are quite pleasant. We have been busy in the garden this week, bedding annual plants which we grew from seed. Grandad is growing some tomatos this year - a very old variety called Ailsie Craig which your great grandfather used to grow. Are you keen on gardening Ali - you could always start with a window box. Hope you are continuing to enjoy your work in Veitnam - get some of your thoughts into print before the next spade of visitors Love frm Gran and Grandad

what's happening up in Vietnam? Haven't spotted any updates from you chief. We have Shona arriving weekend next and then the gang will head up to see you. Don't think we (Lila and family) are going to make it sadly although Lila plans to join Shona in Hanoi on the Monday.
All is well otherwise in Singapore. Alison is working at Rob's office at the moment and enjoying (so she says!) her time. Kids well - Sophie keeping everyone on their toes. Jamie almost finished school term -
See you soon

Hi Ali, only me! just got a chance to catch your blog again after a few weeks! I see you've been looking through my photos (not been out quite so much of late) on facebook over the last few days! so thought I'd repay the favour!
Everything is good with myself & Jennifer, we've just got two new 9week kittens, called shabba (black & white) & shibby (tabby) Jen heard from a work friend that they didn't have a home, so of course, she pestered me into us having them both! (they're brothers) so as you can imagine, they are a handful! but wicked when not hectic, clawing, biting, smelling the house out & so on!
Might be just as well, what with fluffer the hamster going seriously bald now due to old age!
We've also got a veggie patch in the garden now! how grown up of me lol I was amazed at how many things you can grow! want me to send you out some carrots? ha.
Now Heroes has finished I've started watching the mentalist (well the first 2) it's OK, hoping it grows on me!
Am keeping up to date with all your downloads, prison break started again, only got 4 episodes left till the very end!
Ruth & Scott now live in merrow, Liane has moved to Bupham also!
Been playing xbox most of the time (it keeps me in!) but I do go out still every couple off weeks, going to Epsom this weekend & Wales in a couple of weeks, camping, so look out for those pictures!
I shall go now, must be the longest message ever!
Glad your doing well matey, if I had the money I'd go to Oz! but you know me!
Speak Soon!

hi ali, glad to hear the rash has gone, sure it wasnt a love bite?
We are back from our first experience skiing abroad in the french alps, absolutely amazing we all had a ball and will be going back next year. Even Finlay who wasnt that keen to go is completely hooked. Of course the kids are much better skiiers than us, ioni mastered a 360 degree spin on her skis! I found my skiing was better in the aftys after a couple of grande vin blancs!you are very welcome to come with us next year, we were talking about how good it would be to have you with us to help with the kids, depending on what you are up to and where you are, we can start the negotiations early! Spring arrived at Cobbinshaw for 4 days but has disappeared again, its bl..dy freezing. Looking forward to your mum and dad visiting in a couple of weeks.love P,F,I,G,K,R&Lxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Ali,
You should have sent a picture of the rash to me to diagnose! It's called Telemedicine! Were there any blisters in it as shingles can be very painful.More likely to be an insect bite.Glad you're better. You'll be looking forward to Singapore gang visit and chill out time.Take care. Shonaxx
