On our way up one of the lonely highways we saw something dash across the road. I said to Scott, that looked liked a coyote. But I was puzzled, I had never seen a real coyote before and didn't think they were in this part of the country. We pulled over to go check it out and we found ourselves this starving lil coyote pup. We suspect his mum had been shot by a local farmer. He was very wary and we eventually got back on the bike leaving him behind with what we felt was a certain fate.
