Hello Alison, Thanks for p.c. from Vietnam, I don't think I would like a sail in THAT BOAT !!!!! Think I'll stick to Cal-Mac (ha ha)We are really enjoying your photos.Glad you didn't go near the dog restaurant that definitely would be a no no. You will have some wonderful stories to tell us once you return. In one of your photos, at first glance I thought it was Colin you were sitting beside. Great weather here very hot for our part of the world. I had to take Brodie to vet as he developed exema, so he had to get a bit of his thick coat clipped, but it will soon grow again, but it is healing already.Laura starts her new job on Monday. I am very busy getting stuff organised for the window competition, so Neil will get peace, while I'm painting etc. Hope you enjoy the next part of your trip.
Take care, lots of love, Agnes x x x

Hi Alison,
Wonder how your visit to China is going? I'll look forward to seeing your photos and journal entry. The sun deigned to come out the other day so Av. & I had a walk up Dollar Glen, we stopped at Campbell Castle for a wee sandwich but a bus load of school kids came in so we made a run for it before we got caught up in their project, there is a limit to what one does in ones day off!! We ended up climbing up the hill, I was a bit puffed, just another reminder that I need to build up my fitness before September. Had my yellow fever on Monday, the nurse was very informative! she said it would be 5 days before I felt the effects of the injection so I guess I'm in for a rotten week-end! She asked me to consider Rabies & Malaria cover will do a bit of reading on those.
Spanish class is coming to an end I'd better keep practising or I will have forgotten it all before we even get to South America, I've got some lessons on c.d. if I'm clever enough I'll transfer them on to my I.Pod & it will be less to bring with me.
Talk to you soon, take care & safe & happy travels.
Love, Jan x

Good to see trip is going well. Your in Hanoi. Amazing its one of these places that you hear so much about but most people will probably never visit. Will you visit some of the war museums? Enjoy China. We have sold our house and are now staying with Gerald & Cath. Hope our house will be finished by the end of the month. Keep in touch.
Love Colin & Karen

Hello there Alison, how's it going? Good to get your emails. Not a lot happening here.Saturday was lovely and sunny, so we had a 2hour walk along Tayinloan beach. Brodie loved it, running into the water, then coming out shaking himself and soaking us !! This year the window competition is to be based on a musical, so I shall need to get down to business !!! and get the paints out. When are you going to Australia??? I was speaking to Sheila Scotts son Ewan last night, both he and his sister Emma (remember her) did the Machu Pichu trek and really enjoyed it. Better go now and phone your Mum.
love, Agnes x x x
