Over 2000km from Broome to Darwin slept in swags every night. Went on the Gibb River Road which you must have 4wd for the rivers are very deep in some places. Saw fresh water crocodile. Salties they live in the sea and some rivers these are the big ones that can kill you if you go into there territory they don't eat all of you just drown you.
