Hi Alice. All the best for your return to the orphanage. Please let me know what kind of things (books, supplies etc) the kids need for when me, Jenny and Tom come out next month. Thanks. And keep updating your adventure entries please...

Sorry to hear that you had to come back, that must have felt very strange. Only just found out. Thought it was odd when i saw the map showing you were in the UK, last time i checked you had just arrived in Mwanza.
Hope that you can safely return to complete the project after the funeral

hey Alice
We talked online earlier this year. I will be going to Mwanza in October, all being well. Unfortunately i think you will home by the time i go out. I would be interested to know how you raised your funds. I have used Sta Travel before and have bookmarked this journal page, so will check regularly for updates, although i guess computer servers are slow there and it can be frustrating if you are used to broadband. Hello to all the other Salfields in the meantime.. wherever you are. Coz i know you can all read this!

Just seeing if any of the 16 pages in hard copy had made it to the blog yet....but I guess you are too busy going to the market to practice Swahili and watching the East Africa cup match. Lots of love Nickxxx
