Just realised what an awful daughter and cousin I have been, I didnt even realise I had been sent messages form mum dad and tim as for some reason you dont recieve notifications like you do with facebook...
In reply to what I can remember you asking me, Yes mum I have done that with my Rape alarm also, i did it in stalbridge outside the youth club and the scary thing was, not one person looked up, maybe they thought it was a car alarm but not sure it would save me if i was attacked. and dad I will also get on to lewis if you want, that was very silly of him but somehow i am not suprised...and Tim, you will pleased to hear that it has pretty much rained everyday here except for the last 2 days which have been lovely and 1 day in Mercury bay where we went to the beach.
I am sorry i havnt been updating my blog recently, I had free internet in LA so was on every night and was less busy in the evenings because i am under 21 and therfore cant go out at night...then the Fiji islands only had internet for like $10 a minute or something haha and the place we are staying Currently charges us $8 but right now i am taking advantage of Kathryn Hunts Free interent at her house. I have also discovered the Free internet in the library so will try get to them more often now.
We started of our NZ experience in Auckland, We arrinved with 3 remaining friends form our original 11 we travelling LA and Fiji with but they were only staying in NZ for a week so we had to leave them, they went off round the north Island and we staying in Auckland, we were originaly planning to go up to the bay of Islands and wanted to go in a campervan, which was a great idea when i bumped into Eleanor Price in the supermarket on our first day in NZ. But somehow my phone was playing up and i couldnt get hold of Eleanor and the bus proved rather expensive so we decided that although it is ,eant to be very beautiful, we were sure to see other beautiful sites in the rest of NZ. We had to stay in Auckland for 4 days waiting for a Kiwi exp Bus to pick us up, we didnt really like Auckland, but we visited the Sky Tower and I did a bungy jump and it rained a lot, the bungy was good but not high anough, so I would like to another one if i can afford it.
We then caught the Kiwi bus and went down to Mercury Bay, It was raining so we didnt see anything, so we dicided to stay an extra day....So glad we did as it was the most beautiful day...My new friends and I...Katie and Eleanor (who we then bumped into on the kiwi bus and have been with for 2 weeks) Andy and George, had planned to got to the hot water beach...perfect day for it, we enquired at the hostel and were told it was at 10.30am, ideal we thought, and headed down the the little ferry, however when we got to the ferry we were told we had been mis informed and it infact had been at 7am....we had a taxi driver waiting at the otherside so we decided to go anyway, the taxi driver was very helpful, he took us via the hot water beach anyway so that we could have a look, we still tryed digging a whole (the boys did-mostly george) but the water was cold and the tide was coming in rapidly....so we called that a lost cause and headed to cathedral cove (where we were meant to go the day before but it had been raining and it was too foggy to see it)...that was great fun, we walked for about half an hour to find it but it was sunny and warm outside, the water was cold but we fooled around in the waves, nearly got killed and all got pretty battered and bruised-great fun! the taxi driver also took us via other little landmarks cos he said he wasnt busy then when he dropped us back at the ferry, he felt bad so called it $20 each and went on so that was about 10 pounds...pretty good deal really.
We then went onto Rotorua, Taupo, somewhere else, River Valley and here Nelson, We have done lots of exciting things but i have left my friends talking to Kathryn and her family for about an hour and feel i am being rude, so i will leave you with that for now....
Until then TTFN
