Our first taste of Bolivia was the border control, which seemed to be a small shack in the middle of nowhere with a burnt out bus being the bathroom. We got in our jeeps which we were going to spend the next 3 days in, with our driver Doro (aka Doris). This was an amazing three days. We just drove cross country, every so often stopping at some random sight. We saw the white lagoon, green lagoon and red lagoon, some boiling mud pots, some cool rocks and lots and lots of flamingoes. The ´hostels´left a lot to be desired- on our first night it was freezing and we could see the sky through our ceiling. But by far the best bit was the salt flats. We spent a lot of time having too much fun taking pictures of us standing on things, climbing out of things etc. arrived in Unyuni and went to a kind of train graveyard, which was quite eerie before heading back for dinner and the most amazing fresh pizza I´ve had yet in South America. Definitely some of the best few days of the trip so far.
