first one of these on the road. i geuss i should've done one in fiji but the internet there was well expensive.

also, i broke my camera so i can't upload any fiji pics either. but i'll tell you all a nice story of what i've been up to so far.

it all started a long time a go, in a country far far away (america). so we were in LA staying at matts appartment with him and graeme, both of whom are ace, in hollywood. we did the usual site seeing stuff in hollywood, all the studios, walk of fame etc. we also went in to Central LA (or downtown, i'm not really sure) where all the skyscrapers are which was really cool. we walked around there all day and found a really good burger place called Carls Jr. that was a proper good day. we spent on day sitting around, we got some movies from blockbuster and just sat about with matt and graeme and ate and drank. they had a party one night be we didn't drink and must've looked well boring, but we didn;t know they were gonna have one and weren't really in the mood, but oh well. they're friends we met we coool! we went to universal studios on a monday and it was well empty, the longest que we had all day was the cue to get in. we went to santa monica beach another day, well nice places, wrong time of year, so we walked around santa monica which is an awesome part of LA. we went up to the roof of the appartment building with graeme at sunset and saw the sunset over LA, it was truely awesome seeing it so high up. amazing!

then we had a night flight to fiji, which was ok, food wasn't that good (BA flight to La was generally great). we arrived at 5am in Nadi to a big BULA!! welcome and it was already f***ing boiling!!. we had a few days sitting around by the pool at the Nadi Bay Hotel before we set of on a 6 day trip around the Yasawa islands!! the first two nights we were at the Sunrise resort on some island several hours north of the mainland. really nice and like, unspoiled traditional fijian place, we spent the first afternoon sheltering from the rain drinkin Kava (a traditional fijian drink made from crushed Kava plant root) we did an cave trip the next day which you have to dive under water to get to whihc was ace!1 after the two days at sunrise we spent two nights aboard the wanna taki 'cruise' ship. which was awesome!!1 charles had his birthday on the first night and the ship was packed anyway so it was a really party night. he got absolutled f***ed! and was still pissed the next day!!! we were jumping off the side of the boat which was also awesome. it was about 26feet high. we were jumping diving making shapes etc. so good. second night wasn't as fun but the days were still ace!! the next night we stayed on this tiny tiny island called south sea island. we literally walked around it in about 5 minutes! the next day we were on this day cruise aboard the Seaspray schooner. FREE BOOOZE!!!! us lot, aleksi and ron (two finish gues we met) and juan (a uraguian we've met and is in auckaldn with us) and then a feww young australians were like the only people really drinking so there was plenty to go around. we stopped off at a few places, and the BBQ lunch was ace. after that we arrived back on the mainland and spent two night at smugglers cove hostel and one at aquairus hostel (the later being cheaper and nicer!!!)

after that we flew out to NZ, 3 hour flight, wasn't too bad. surprisingly warm in auckland as well!! humid to. our hostel (Base ACB) is f***ing HUUUUUUGE, were in a small dorm, (currently just us) but its in a skyscraper spread over several floors. there is a night club in the basement and we got 2for1 drinks vouchers so we had a feww beers with juan, then went karoke at another bar, then went back the the first one and did some serious dancing. hahahha. felt knackered this morning!!

second day in auckland now, doing this cos the internet is much cheaper than in fiji. gonna buy a new camera! gert some serious snapping going, and start uploading photos!!!
