Okay, this place is f***ing paradise, you'll have to pardon my language. Right now, I'm having a late breakfest of huevos rancheros (egg and salsa) with refried beans and bacon, sipping a cantaloupe and banana smoothie.
I had woken up early, grabbed a plate of fruits and a smoothie, before heading to yoga. To get there, you need to take the sky trail and head upward. Before long, you reach a covered platform up above the trees and overlooking the ocean. Zen music is playing along with the hum of the locusts and the that of the wind. Yoga was, well it was yoga, you get the idea.
Most of yesterday was spent on a boat visiting the island. We stoped at a private island, owned by some Texas millionaire who also own the diesel operated plant that is the sole source of electricity for the island of roatan. So this other private island has a house and a few guest houses, an air strip and a marina, a zip line, and a few beaches, one of witch is permitted to a few guides to visit, and this is where we anchor the boat. our boat captain, has brought mangoes from his tree. He gives us some of the fruits, before jumping in the shallow water to give the rest to the guards at the beach. There are at all times 27 armed guards positioned around the island, lone figures in a blue shirt standing on the edge of the jungle, above the water. All this for a house that get inhabited less than a month per year. So we went snorkeling and chased after the boat that had gotten loose from its anchor, and in this I learned that it is fairly easy to pull a boat walking in shallow water.
Ok, i know, this would be a very odd place to end this story, but the rest will come.
