Edge of Kanangra-Boyd National park,
day 4
I´m coming close to the edge of Kanangra National Park (wich I´ve been hiking through since early morning of day 3), and I´ve got to say, it´s extraordinarily beautiful and very, very dramatic, with the enormous mountains rising around you and the tall, luscious that cover them and surround the trail. I´ve been following several tracks until now, but I will soon have to leave those when the land becomes more open and barren. So far the hike has gone smoothly and my provisions that I bought back in the hostel (about 350kr) will definitely outlast my hike; I´ve come further than I´ve expected and I should be in goulburn tommorow morning. From there I´ll take the Australian greyhound bus (wich I´ve already paid for) to Canberra and Melbourne were the "Spirit of Tasmania" ferry departs from. I can´t wait to go there, but first I have to get to goulburn, and now that I´m beginning to leave the (somwhat) sheilding foliag of the forest the sun is really setting in. So long for now!
