Hope you are both fit & well. Soon be up and away again. Nice to speak with you the other day Kate, it's been a bit manic at work lately as you can imagine, can't remember if I told you about the fella that queued for 3 hrs to withdraw £1.08(with interest)!, the CSA thought he was having a laugh but he was deadly serious (sad git). Anyway on a different note Kate, Nana is going into hospital on Tuesday for some tests they have to do before any operation can be done. It's nothing to worry about and I'll keep you informed, she will only be in for a few hours.
Enjoy your last few days at work, and will speak again soon.
Love to you both
Dad xx

Hi Fiona!
Your message made me chuckle! Putting a 'why' in the box I can just imagine Franki's face! We are both good but ready to finish work and get back on the road!
My ankle is fine now just had a slight running issue, went for an x ray last week no broken bones just a bad sprain. Been to see the Physio too and she has giving me a some exercises to do everyday, which I must say are a little strange and god knows how they are related to my ankle!
Hope all is well with the Pearsons say hi from us to Keith, Gab and Jazz.
Take care
Your fourth daughter :-)

Fiona!
Hi Alex and Kate! (Fiona = Franki's mum here!) Snail mail from Franki winging its way to you soon and i was going to add a note in it after i'd seen your travel log - so i've been happily browsing here and found your message board - the 'modern'/cool way to send notes! (Nothing like this in MY day, of course! When keith and i went 6 months travelling in our 20s (yes, we were as young as you once!) it was in the days before mobiles, let alone web blogs!) What a brill trip you're having, so many places, so many sights. Long may the fun continue. Pleased to see you're taking plenty great photos for the albums! Sorry about your ankle tho, Alex - what news on the X ray?? Well, i was about to say this is my very first attempt at blogging but its really my 2nd cos the 1st disappeared (here tonight...) and i hope i'm not repeating myself now but it didn't appear on the message board so i asked franki for help and we reckon that it vanished into cyberspace cos i didn't answer the simple sum below - i put "Why?!!" in the box (silly person that i am...) Franki says its a security thingy so this time i've filled in the answer (hope it's right!!) and fingers crossed i'm not timed out now!
Keep safe, keep smiling!
Love
Fiona xx

Hi Girls,
Kate, Just to let you know if you haven't already that we got a text from Christine in SA that she is pregnant, about 5-6wks,, they are over the moon, and I can just imagine what Justin's mums & dad reaction will be!! Another excuse for a party & a Bri eh!!
Hope you are both fit & well, Richard is really under the weather at the moment, Tonsilitis bad along with his usual cold sores that he gets, poor lad. Joyce & Arthur coming round for dinner today, supposed to be a nice Bank Holiday Weekend weather wise but it is rather cloudy at the moment........typical.
Anyway better get going as the office will be closing in about 10 mins, take care both of you, not long until you are on the road again. 4months gone already, only 7 left!!!!!!!!! enjoy
Lots of love
Dad

Julie & Mr R
Hi Girls!
Just been updating Mr R on all your news and travels, he says "what a fantastic opportunity for you, one you'll never forget!" He's up for it himself, but feels he may have left it a little late. But you never know, so watch out for him pitching up! We had a thoroughly great time with your parents in La Belle France. Your Mum is worth her weight in entertainment value, no need to miss the TV with her about!!!Now back to doing DIY and are in the middle of doing Bex's room. Your Dad and Paul had fun fixing leaks last week in our heating system - fun. Meanwhile we girls enjoyed a day in London visiting Buckingham Palace with your Mum. Super day topped off by dinner at Cafe Rouge with Richard. Haven't seen him since before he went travelling. Just the same as ever!
Well keep enjoying yourselves and keep safe when Bunjee jumping!
Lots of love

Hi travelchicks
Hope you are both OK and working & saving hard. we are just back from our French hols with Paul & Jules, had a fantastic time in the Dordogne, a really beautiful part of France. Had some very good weather and some not brilliant but still enjoyed it. had a pool which was very nice, albeit shared with the people next door, went for walks & a cycle ride, ( very entertaining as there are a lot of steep hills around, ended up pushing more than riding!!), had loads of BBQ's & drank plenty of wine, did a bit of culture, visited Bergerac and did some wine tasting where Paul & Jules stayed 9 years ago. The fella remembered Paul, (once met never forgotten!) and we bought 24 bottles from him.We had 2 overnight stops going down there & 1 coming back, will tell you all about it when we next speak. First day back to work today, 151 e-mails, arghhhh!!, we are going down to Auntie Jean's on Saturday night so we can go to Richy's on Sunday to move his gear to his new flat, then he is coming back to York with us. Nana is going to come down next week also so she can see him before he goes to Bristol.
Anyway better go and get some more e-mails sorted, take care both of you, love you lots and will speak soon.
