Day 4 Friday in La Giraudiere included a two hour French lesson from a local English woman who is also a french teacher. Day 3 My first day at La Giraudiere and I get to go on an excursion with the whole group to La Rochelle. Off we went at 07h30 two hours up the crazy French motorway from Chalais to La Rochelle. Day 1 En France - Arrival 16:30 Bordeaux airport. The quickest flight I have ever been on of 1 hour and 25 minutes transported me to the most French place I could possibly imagine.
