Bayu
Congratulations on your Monadnock hike!Let me know if you see off-leash dogs on Mt Greylock, or if everyone has them laehsed. I'd like to do hike there sometime. My parents were friends (many, many years ago) with the Mt Greylock forest ranger. I met him in the 70 s when our family visited him.I went hiking in the Catskills this weekend. Did my 4th Catskill summit over 3500 feet. It was tough. Made me feel out of shape. 2200 feet elevation gain. Our hikes closer to home just don't have much elevation gain, so those Catskill hikes are tiring. Today I'm recuperating I'm on vacation this week, and was supposed to hike on the MA/CT border today (Bear Mountain), but I'm thinking that is not going to happen. My foot is sore (plantar fasciitis still). New orthotics are supposed to be ready soon.
