Hey hey from western australia!!!

Well i finally managed to leave airlie beach!!! 3rd time lucky!!! Seriously think someone was trying to keep me in airlie the flight i was suppose to catch was cancelled so i was changed on to a flight the following day which was delayed 2 hours..... anyway luckly i just and no more caught my connection flight from brisbane to Perth and arrived at about 11pm at night, to some what colder weather than queensland i would say 6degrees!!!! oh a bit chilly!!!!!!! seriously im thinking about buying a scarf and gloves!!!!! but im holding myself back.... IM IN AUSTRALIA MAN!!! GLOVES AND SCARFS SHOULDNT EVEN BE HEARD OFF LET ALONE SOLD IN SHOPS!!!!!

Anyway my neighbours who emigrated out here last august Fiona and Deb picked me up from the airport and it took us about 1.5hours to get to their house in Port Kennedy!!
Port Kennedy is nice/quiet/REALLY QUIET!!! not really much to do... but it was just nice to be around a family for a few days. Elaine there daughter 14, Ewen 8 and there granny and fiona and deb! So really i just chilled out the whole time i was there... bit of a shock to the system especially coming from a mental place like airlie beach... But my body is def thanking me for it... No alcohol for at least a week.. ha ha ha....

Anyway today i moved into the city!! Into the Emperor's Crown backpackers on 85 stirling street... Really cool place.... Its only 2 years old more like a show backpackers than a hostel... its beautiful and 2 second walk from main street and north bridge where all the pubs are!!(the important part) ha ha

Spent the day exploring and sorting things out for work, It has cost me a bloody fortune just to register and get checks done for Nursing over here. but its all done now woohoo. just need to wait until fri until i can start work doing permanent night shifts for like a month!!! Im soooo pumped about this?!? Everyone excited for me? yeh? oh i just need to think about the money i suppose! and ill soon be off somewhere else exciting...

Anyway bit of drama today.

First drama of the wee scottish backpacker: i had to get my MRSA swabs done which if you dont know is like em well... you know on the news they go on about the 'hospital bug'? thats MRSA and all nurses over in Western Australia have to get MRSA checks before they work in a hospital setting so i finally managed to find the hospital and a really nice male very gay nurse who had to stick two cotton buds up my nostril's and one in the back of my throat i swear i was nearly sick!!!!!!! But anyway i survived!!!

Second drama of the wee scottish backpacker: I was on my way home after walking about 3 miles around perth city and remembered i had a $10 voucher for Supre - girls clothes shop!! And i though since i had no pennies nice cheap $10 top would be a nice little treat for me so i headed into the shop.... had a little look around and found nothing for $10 i really dont know why i thought i would get a top for only$10 but it was worth a try....anyway i headed out the shop and the security guard stopped me and asked to look in my bag!!! and me being me was like 'what?!?!?' in a very scottish accent, anyway i showed him and he was like ok thanks..... Eh do i look like a thief?????? oh i was raging!!!

So thats all my crack really..... Chill out day tomorrow and hopefully start work on friday.... YAY!!:(
