Hello All once again!!!

The wee scottish backpacker is back on her travels, yeeha!!!!

I left Inverness on the 31st of Jan to catch a flight from Edinburgh to Heathrow, where we would then fly onto Bangkok.

I left a very cold Inverness, Snow and all, and headed down the A9 with mum, dad and Ryan, The jouney felt like it took forever, but i guess anyone heading on holiday is eager to get on the plane!!!

Once we arrived in Edinburgh Airport, my brother Gary came to say goodbye for the second time in less than 2 years. Once checked in, me and ryan found out that due to weather conditions the flights were all slightly delayed!?! b*****!!!

After yet another tearful goodbye to my parents and my brother, me and ryan headed to the departure lounge, Both of us manged to set the buzzer of going through the gate!!! so after a quick frisk so to speak, we headed to the bar for a wee celebratory drink!

Flight left edinburgh around 1745 Both of us excited, but knew we had a long flight ahead of us!

Once in heathrow, we headed for our next boarding gate and got on our 11 hour flight to Bangkok!

Ok so i remember last time i went on the long hall planes i got a tad excited about having my own tv screen at my seat etc etc, but jeeeeeez i though ryan was gonna pee himself he was like a little kid in a candy shop!!! RYAN - 'you mean i get to watch all the films i want' and i get to watch all the family guy over and over again!!!' YES RYAN!!! ha ha!!! He was hilarious!!!

I slept about 8 our of the 11 hour flight, thank god! Once we arrived in Bangkok Airport (Which is a brand new airport now) we went through immigration then jamp into a taxi to our hotel, Viengtai!

Bangkok is one of those places that you will never forget, busy, loud, dirty, HOT! but driving through it to the hotel, i guess i did forget that although it is all them things, its an amazing city and i was blown away again!!

Arriving at the hotel, me and ryan were both pretty shattered, but we managed to head out to have a meal and have a little look around the markets!

Following day, we went on a little tour of our own, we jamp in a TOK TOk, little golf buggy thingy's and we went to a few different temples, which were yet again mind blowing!!!

Our tok tok driver then took us to a suit making shop, which neither me or ryan really wanted to go, but as the driver was so persistant we went in, we were greeted by the manager and taken upstairs where he gave us both water and sat us in one of the rooms, gave us booklets of suits, and tried to make us buy not 1 not 2 but 3 suits each!!!!! both of us were like s***!! We said to him nicely that we were not here to buy just looking, he marched us down stairs, shoved a bar of soap in our face and said buy this only 100thai baht! we were like no thanks, he then made a guesture toward the door and walked away!!! We couldnt believe how rude he was!!!!!

Following day we checked out and headed to the airport to fly to Koh Samui, one of the islands! Koh samui here we come!!!!!! I get a real tan!!! no more Fake tan!!! woooooooooooopppppppeeeeee!!!!
