Big Hello to everyone!!

On Nite shift at the mo, getting $35 per hour to update you all on my travels.. Nice... God they are so laid back here!! back home id be getting s*** if i was caught on the computer. apparently im allowed and since every patient bedside has its personal computer i have the pleasure of using it... Im working In Paediatric Intensive care at the moment, and instead of writing notes like we do back home in what would seem the 1940's over here in Australia 2020 they are using computers to document all of the patients cares!!! how exciting... However the hospital have blocked BEBO so i cant access that which sucks... im such an addict..

Anyway yes still in Brisbane, and so much happier here than i was in perth, i mean so so so much happier... im a queensland girl through and through i would say. love the heat, type of people and the fact that im only a 2hr flight away from airlie beach my second home. Still staying in the hostel, its cool met a few ace people, mainly irish i would say 90% of the hostel are irish.... Anyway Mary girl from cork met on my first day in the hostel, and i would say she is mental. typical irish lass!! Drinks more than a fish... however not so good at downing her drinks like me!!! Since she is new to Australia i would say a week, me and leah another scottish introduced her to GOON, Australian boxed 4L wine, which according to the box includes fish and eggs, tastes rank but only costs around $14 cheap as and when your a backpacker its the next best thing to vodka... or so you keep telling yourself..but anyway good laugh with her however she left yesterday for Airlie Beach!!!!

Anyway so my plan at the moment is to work in Brisbane doing 5 12hour night shifts a week earn enough money so i can do a bit more travelling, save for my residency and enjoy myself!!!! finally ill have the money to do something more than spend my last $5 in the pub!!! ha ha ha!!!

But Sunday its my birthday and heading to Airlie Beach for a few days starting tomorrow!!! yay! sooooo excited!! Back to partying like a typical Scot lass!!! And of course catch up with Nic and the guys!! gonna be a bit mental!! yahoo! feel like ive been away from that place months... when really its only been a few weeks!!!

Anyway i would say i should get back to work!! Will be in touch soon!!

FEW WKS INTO BRISBANE...

Hey guys...

Ok so been in Brisy now for 5 wks and i have grown to love the place... When i was in brisbane last feb i wasnt such a fan...but now loving it....
Still Staying in the hostel.. got a nice 4 share dorm with en suite. NICE....
Have settled real well here.. Met a few people in the Hostel who are long termers like myself either working in the hostel or elsewhere..
Sofie girl from Sweden has become my drinking buddy!!! She is almost as mental as me... We are like little children on a night out.... but its all for laughs... Me and sof joined the gym a few wks ago both have the same fitness instructor who seriously kicks our ass!!!!! but it will all be worth it...we both feel we have destroyed our bodies over the past months in OZ (all worth it of course)....
Val and Gemma 2 SCOTTISH girls..... there mental... Glasweejies which explains it... ha ha...
and everyone else whom 90% of are irish!!!! you guys are everywhere.... is there any irish left in IRELAND????

Lucy loo!! Luce works at the tin at reception, and she could possibly be the funniest person i have ever met, me and her together are like dumb and dumber!!! im sure we are first class entertainment for everyone!!! your rock chick.

Anyway having a ball. spend most of my time working as im really trying hard to save my pennies but still have plenty of time to party as always....
