Kowloon, Hong Kong
Arrived in Hong Kong at around 5pm and easily found our way out of the airport to the ‘Airport Express’ and then used the free shuttle bus to the Hotel City View which was in Kowloon
Hotel was a lot nicer than we expected and the room was on the 11th floor.
We went straight out to explore and after asking the concierge where to go we got the 6A bus from Pitt Street all the way to thew ferry terminal. We caught the start ferry across to Hong Kong Central which was a bargin at only 20p.
We fouind our way to the tram station and used the tram to make our way into the hills to oversee the lights of Hong Kong.
The sights were amazing and we took a lot of photos. It was quite windy up there which made it a bit chilly.
We made our way back down to Hong Kong Central and caught the ferry back to Kowloon as the restaurants were beginning to close.
We ate in Macau restaurant which was very nice. The portions were massive and we had 2 chow meins, fried squid and satay skewers. It was a very nive meal for a good price. And we then caught the metro back to the hotel.
