Nah Trang
So I take back what I said about night busses, I was lucky enough to get a 6 ft. bed this time leather seat and reclinable!!! So the 12 hours from hoi an to nah trang was quality for me however Mich. didn't have the best of times!
Mich. was in the middle row of beds everything was going fine and then a couple stops along two of the fattest people in Asia sat in the aisles next to her! I just don't see big people out here, they are all small and slim, so poor Mich. was sandwiched in with these two people and the man was snoring like an absolute trooper she was not happy at all! I however thought it was hilarious and was laughing my head off at 3 in the morning. SO with night busses its all about luck what bus you get how mad the driver is and who you sit next too.
So we reach Nah Trang at 6am and it instantly reminded me of L.A, massive strip of beach and a sidewalk of people running and working out. This is the only time of day that it is cool, but its still about 27 degrees.
Our first impression of Nah Trang wasn't that good, the beach wasn't anything like Hoi An and there was quite a lot of rubbish everywhere. So we just chilled out the next day got up early and caught a cable car to Vinpearl island, this is a little boys paradise, 15 huge water slides, little theme park, an aquarium and a free indoor arcade. It was silly hot so we loved riding the slides.
Then as we pop out of this one slide we saw our friends Dave and Lara from Hoi An and Halong Bay was quality seeing them because I'm sure Mishee gets sick of me spending 24/7 with my immature and crazy energy which I cant get rid of because I cant do any sport, god I miss my sport!!!
Lara and Dave introduced us to another lovely couple called Nick and Holly. We had an amazing time at Vinpearl which ended with a water and light show! We then boarded the cable car back to Nah Trang. We had very little money of our daily budget left so we found this little street stall. You just sit down on the tiny Richard Hammond sized plastic chairs and they serve you whatever they are cooking. We ate beef and egg with chips and onions, and all for £1 each including water!!!! Awesome! A rare in budget day!
The next day Holly and Nick told us about a school for the protection of street kids against sexual predators. They were going there to help out by teaching English. We decided to join them. We loved it!!! Ads is definitely a natural born teacher! It felt amazing to help and the class were lovely. The place is called Crazy Kims and is set up as a bar and restaurant with the proceeds going to the school. Definitely worth doing even if its just for a couple of hours.
That afternoon we found a spot on the beach with sun loungers and a pool at the back. We decided to loaf out there. It was 25000 dong for the lounger for the day with free use of the pool, shower and toilets.
Then out of no where it threw it down and didn't stop for 12 hours, wasnt botherd though as it was still boiling, its such a quiet time of year out here which is class for us I think its because people cant take the hudminditly, it takes a month to get get used to it for sure and it definately takes your tummy a month to get used to the food if you know what I mean!!!!!!
Next stop Mui Nue for some kite surfing.
