Oh also, forgot to mention the outdoor escalator that you get from Central and takes you up almost to the top of the peak - it is to be experienced during rush hour!
Lang Kwai Fong is a good place for night life on Hong Kong Island.

Hello both! Gald to hear you have arrived safely. Hope you have fun on Hong Kong Island - there is a lot to do there and it is much better than Kowloon - go to the top of Victoria peak on the little cable car and have lunch at the Peak cafe. The beach on the South side is nice to chill out and there is a little market over there which is fun. Also visit the islands Lantau and Lamma if you can. If you go north to the Northern territory thre are some nice hills for walking - but you can also go walking on the dragons back on Hong Kong Island. Hope you enjoy it better today!
