After our false start we made good progress back the way we came to Penzance, where a sausage sandwich and a hot beverage provided the fuel to start proper. The first few miles were nice and easy along the coast before we turned and headed inland up our first climb of the day. The profile for the rest of the days cycling resembled a sine wave until we decided to call it a day and find somewhere to stay in Wadebridge. The b&b was lovely with a very friendly couple who made us drinks and gave us a lift to Tesco. They also recommended s good 15 minutes walk away, which we duly walked to. On arrival though we discovered all the good beer to be off and no room at the inn for food... So we walked 15mins back to the pub we spotted next door to Tesco... We call this a "warm down".
