Western Gate
Laura in front of King Edwards western entrance to the Tower of London built between1275 and 1281. Originally built over 3 causeways and two drawbridges, this entrance allowed access over the moat that once surrounded the Tower of London. The path leading to the gate is curved to prevent would be attackers from building up enough speed to ram the gate.
