Ahh. Another night with an extra hour of sleep. It's so nice but someday it will all go back. It's 6:30am and time to get up. Today is a sea day. We have a leisurely breakfast. I grab my cameras and IPad and head to the library while Mom does a load of laundry and a few errands. The internet sucks today so I concentrate on loading pictures from cameras and writing. Karen meets me later and we go up to the pool where she lies by the pool and I continue my work. We're scheduled to arrive in Apia at 8am this morning. With no tendering, this should be simple. The only problem we see is that our CC tour person John, unlike others, has provided no details regarding who and where to meet after disembarking. We have our usual breakfast and exit the ship just after 8am. We see no one with any tour signs. We're up at 6:30am for a tour around part of the island of Tutuila ending at Tisa's Barefoot Bar for lunch and snorkeling. This port has a pier so there is no tendering. After breakfast, we exit the ship a little after 8 and meet up with Tisa. There's about 20 of us going and we board an open air mini bus for our ride around the island. As we sail from Pago Pago, we cross the International Date Line and, as you can see, we go from Tuesday to Thursday, skipping Wednesday. That lost day will come back on October 28. It's all the same day but for now, we are one day ahead of California. Nothing to see here.
