Amazing experience, one of the best, such wonderful people
Home soon!..10 days to go….I'm not sure if that's a good thing, or a bad thing…good, I think…maybe…
I'm in India and the internet is very limited, so I've not had chance to catch up on my blog. In fact, I've had to retype the whole of this one because I lost it the first time, in a power cut.
I finally moved my ass out of Vietnam and went to Thailand. I didn't have time for Cambodia because I loved Vietnam too much! I'm now in India and loving it.
My first stop in Thailand was Koh Phangan for the Full Moon Party. I met some friends from Vietnam there and we had a great night. We had no where to stay, but it didn't matter because we were up until lunchtime the next day! Then I traveled to Koh Samui to visit my dad. My sister came out for a holiday, with her friend and it was great to see everyone and we partied lots.
I'm currently in the South of India and it has been an amazing experience. There has been no drinking or smoking involved and I can honestly say that it's been the best bit of my trip. It's been really interesting seeing the areas affected by the Tsunami and the relief work going on. The countryside and the coast line is beautiful. The kindness of the people is overwhelming. I've been traveling the countryside on the back of my friend's bike. Everyone is always very interested in talking to me because they don't see white people very often in the villages. Kid's faces light up when they see us on the bike and they wave as we go by.
I fly to Delhi soon to see some other friends. I'm very excited because we are attending a birthday party of a man that owns a fort (he's a type of prince). It has been converted in to a hotel and he is holding a two day party there! I'm so fortunate that it's happening during my visit.
I can't believe that I'm home soon!
I'll see you all soon
Looking forward to it
