The levels fall ito three groups. the lower two are now faced with undecorated pale stone walls added either to conceal the reliefs behind them or, more probably, to provide more support for the temple. Behind them you see the levels of the second group. The third group, set back slightly consists of three rings of openwork stupas around a central stupa.here they appear as a paler grey.
