Hi Laura. Enjoyed the blog - especially the 'train' stories. Those men must think all their birthdays have come at once seeing such beautiful girls. No wonder they stare. Just keep on fighting them off!! Found your funeral pyre stories a bit disturbing. You're v brave experiencing Life's rich tapestry.
Love,
Joy x

Hi Laura - fantastic travel blogs!! You should publish them with photo's as a travel book when you are home as you describe what you are experiencing very well - I fell like I'm there!! Can't wait for the next one! Jan xx

What a great Blog .The thought of Rebecca bringing the ceiling down made us laugh-no injuries we hope. The camel fair is quite common news!Rebecca did you tell the monk that Mum's cousin Ian is a fully ordained Buddist Monk & wears the red habit At present he's in Tuscany (Italy)
Keep safe & watch the Vod.
God Bless

Message for Sophie White!
Hi Sophie
I have some of your photos on my memory stick and I think Hannah said you might still want them. If you do, could you let me know how.
I hope your course is still going well.
Best wishes

Hi girls!
I hope you are enjoying a relaxing few days in Dharamsala. It was so lovely to talk to you yesterday Hannah. I have been looking at some photos on the internet (to keep me going until you are able to post your own!) and it looks beautiful.
I still have Sophie White's photos on my memory stick and am wondering whether she still needs them or whether I can delete them so will post a message on your board for her!
Take care,
Mum / Ros

here's my small world story:
i was on a plane yesterday morning here in the US on my way to Nashville. for some reason they upgraded me to first class. just as the doors closed, a woman came and sat in the seat next to mine. she looked pretty disheveled, had 3 nose rings and henna tattoos everywhere (that i could see) - not what you typically see in first class. Of course, it turns out that she was really nice and was on her way back to the Nashville having just come back from 2 months in India and the Pushkar fair!
She talked about how great and what an experience it was.She also talked about Varinasi (or whatever it was called) and staying in her hostel next to the gat (?) that was burning away 24 hours a day - nice smell!!!
I did start to wonder though how many nose rings and tattoos you all have at this point???

Right, girlies! Me and Potter have been a-bookin hostels.
3rd: You said you've got a hotel/hostel sorted for your first day.
I've been staying here, every year more or less, since 2000 so know the place and its staff inside out!
24-27: My house!
28-Whenever you lot are conscious again: Koh Phnangnan/Koh Samet! Again still looking at places.
After that - no idea! All hostels are recommended by the Guardian.
Only I would search the Guardian for places to stay.
Hope you're well and am expecting a birthday present from India!
Less than two weeks to go!
Lots of love and more exclamation marks!

Hi girls!
Great to see the latest photos. I loved the ones of the desert especially.
Hannah- I had a message from James Pearson on facebook and he said to say 'hi'. And can you tell me how to disable your msn on my computer - I keep disappointing your friends who think you are online. It seems to sign in automatically even after I sign out/exit.
Missing you, but great to see you having such a good time.
