Hoi An was a beautiful old city with some real history and old buildings. We hired bikes to explore the city as it is one of the few places where bikes and cars are not allowed in the city centre so our safety on the chaotic roads was slightly better! It was incredibly beautiful with mountains, rivers, sea and old buildings. As expected some of th group got lots of lovely clothes made including suits and ball gowns. So much temptation but I am no designer so I admired from afar. I did succome to 3 beautiful small lanterns, which are tricky to carry so where you think I was joking about bringing an empty bag calum...no joke anymore!
We have just arrived into Hue another old city and are about to set off exploring it. We passed through the mountains on our bus to get here breathtakingly high and beautiful if slightly scary at times!
During the time at Hoi An I received the news that my amazing geat granddad, Mr Maurice Hart, passed away in the night. I am incredibly sad not to be at home with everyone at the moment and hope that everyone can forgive me for not being there.. he will be dearly missed, and I can only dream to become anything like the amazing person he was. I hope you are at peace now. All my love Xxxxxxxx

Kieran You can't help being away Becky, he would be really proud of what you're seeing and exploring. It's great to hear that you're seeing so many amazing things, I'm looking forward to hearing more about it. Lots of love
Natalie Sorry to hear about your great-grandad - he was a great old chap, and made me laugh :) I'm sure he's still following your travels, wherever you go - who knows, he might be sunning himself on the next beach, or waiting to get a ride on an elephant when you get there xxx
Rosie So sorry to hear that Becky. I'm sure your family know you are there in spirit. Hope you are ok. Looks like you're having a great time so far, and thanks for keeping us all in the loop! Lots of Love xxx
