Today we woke up at 5 and got a local bus to Jodhpur. The layout of the bus was so interesting, half of the bus was two seats row by row and the other half of the bus was two tiers of sleeping boxes. It was nice as we had pre booked so we all had seat numbers. The bus took about 7-8 hours! We all had numb bums at the end of it! Today we explored Jaisalmer Fort! We explored every crack and cranny of the golden fort. It was amazing! It was founded in 1156 by Rajput ruler, many battles had been fought here. This fort is the most unique in India as it still has 3000 people living inside!! We arrived at the fort by foot, it was only a 10 minute walk from our hotel. We all woke up early in Bikaner and got a train to Jaisalmer which took approximately 6.5 hours. Taking the train was an interesting event, it was freezing cold and there was a lot of pushing to get your bags in compartments. We arrived in Jaisalmer ready to explore the ancient city.
