Days 311-317, 19-25 Apr '15, And the beat goes on... We had so much fun on our excursion to Gib last Friday that we decided to do it all again. Except with Dolphins. So bright and early it was onto the coach and off to Gib for a dolphin trip. Whilst James has seen a fair few dolphins during his Navy years, I honestly couldn't remember ever seeing them. It was only whilst having a chat after the dolphin cruise that I remembered a morning many years ago as I walked to work via the Sydney Opera House and saw 50 or so frolicking just off the point. Be that as it may, we had a lovely trip out to the Straits of Gibraltar and even got to see some dolphins. We didn't find out until we were safely paid up and on board that this is, in fact, the worst time of year to see dolphins in Gibraltar as it's too cold, not enough fish and thus not many dolphins. But we were lucky and they were cute and it was all good. We also took the opportunity to stock up on various medications at uber-reasonable rates. What else... Had a lovely visit to the Saturday flea market and bought a couple of lovely pre-loved linen shirts... Next challenge of course is packing all our new gears, medication, utterly vital stuff into our packs for the forthcoming Moroccan adventure. But that's not til Thursday. Loads of time. Wonder if we'll get to ride the Marrakesh Express this time.
