Spanish class was difficult today. I don't know why, but I didn't understand as much. Oh well, only 2 more classes left! I enjoyed the market we went to today. There was about 20 kids and I think that's a lot for a market. Apparently it's always cold at this market but no one informed me until we were on our way, so that was unfortunate. I played frisbee with one kid and another volunteer for a long time and then we broke into groups to do activities. There was a one year old there that I was interacting with a bunch and he just laughed and smiled at me every time. It was so cute. And then at the end of the day he was crying as his sister was trying to comfort him, so I picked him up and he stopped right away. I made him laugh a few times and then I caught the tail-end of his yawn out of the corner of my eye. I knew right away lol. I changed his position so I was cradling him and rocked him for about one minute and he was out. So, after he and his sisters were dismissed, I walked them back to their mom in the market. She greeted me with a smile and thanked me. I always wonder what the ecuadorian mothers think when they see a blonde hair, blue-eyed white girl playing with their kids. Hopefully only good things! Tonight we bought a cake for our host family's middle daughter. She is 9 and the cutest thing. All the daughters are adorable. After dinner we all have to pack up because our taxi is coming to get us at 6 in the morning. Yikes!!! I might be too excited to sleep though.... Nah, nevermind. I'm exhausted! Weekend trips means exciting blogs and pictures coming :)
