The road is vastly improved & we made good time. Noted huge sugar cane farms which appear to be owned/run/managed by Tongaat / Hulett - a huge SA company. 24 June, 2015 Ponta Do Ouro - Maputo - near Manhica Today we were up & on the road by 7am, accompanied by Shandy. Well, what an adventure. As expected the spider web of sand roads spread out in all directions. 23 June, 2015 Ponta Do Ouro, Mozambique Awoke to the sound of waves crashing on the beach, sunshine and 23 degrees. We did our 6 km walk up and down the gorgeous golden beach accompanied by ' our dogs' before strolling down the Main Street in search of Pau - the local bread & Vodacom top up.
