Hey dennis, you old b*****.
guess your back home now and in some state of shock.....y'know that 'back to reality' world of everyday life or perhaps reality was riding through Mongolia....whichever, it was a real pleasure to be in your company for a month in that fantastic country.
Take care mate.

Yo Dennis, what an adventure. Yes you should write the book, with your humour and positive take on every situation and all people it will be a pleasure to read. It could be the start of a series "The Adventures of Barber". Rest up well, look fwd to a lot of beers and a big chat.

Great stories and good to meet you in Wales. You really should write that book... if you need any research doing...
I found a mobile phone - have you missed one?
Hope you're enjoying middle England - some lovely places to see there.
If you come back to Wales you'll have to have a drink at a Real pub!
Cheers

So what's the difference between a 404 and and old BMW? Not much really, they both get you there and keep going with minimul service and parts. reads like you had a GREAT time, and no I shall not be tempted to make the trip. It's a shame you couldn't stay with Didier in Paris, but of course I understand why. And all that travel and only 1 or was it a dozen cracked ribs. look forward to reading the book. Come to Melbourne any time for a house to stay in, but you will have to talk travel mate. I loved your story and still love you Dennis. Let me know when your home and I'll senfd you a few of Graham's latest RERUN photos. But they go on forever. Hope you do likewise mate. PHIL

Hi Dennis, great to hear you are still going strong, especially after your prang. Hope you're not tempted to 'drop your guard' on the final leg and that you travel safely. Looking forward to hearing some of the stories you didn't/can't put on your blog. Life goes on much as usual here in Oz. Robin

Hi Dennis, we met at Cherbourg, with the 2 GSA and F800 GS, and spent the crossing chatting (and I tried hard not to throw up even though the crossing was calm) Jay supplied the coffee which got us home in Wales at 2am Monday Morning, so we probably didn't get to bed much before you did.
Anyway as promised here we are leaving you a little message.
Caitie is very impressed with your adventure and travels and it was inspiring to meet you yesterday. We thought that 9 days travelling through France and Spain was tough and chatting to you on the ferry put our little trip into perspective.
Hope you managed to contact Tim, and let us know if you need anything whist in the UK
xx

Sorry to read about your accident, sounds like you have hurt some ribs maybe. I also was forced off my scooter on about the same day as you, in Carlton by a p plater, inexpeerienced at making right hand turns accross my lane. I still hurn a bit in places but will recover, bike ok with plenty of scratches etc. Talking rallies, GW's repco rerun was a success. no misshaps all had fun and finished. He says no more - yeah sure! The assies can't win anything presently, cricket of course, and swiming world titles we lost to the pomms and rugby, lost to NZ & Sth Africa. Come home soon we need you in a team. Still love your blogs and pics mate. Keep going.
Cheers PHIL
