An odd day really. After breakfast, I did my mile with Barbara and then went back to my room to sort out photos and watch the Mrs. Brown's Boys Movie, which Yvonne had borrowed from the library a couple of days ago. Then it was the World Cruisers Luncheon (we don't have lunch on P&O, we have luncheon). Nice food, too much champagne and wine, but I coped! Then half of BoS and a quick change before deck quoits. I lost, of course. Nice warm weather, so I dozed on one of the back decks for a while.
We've all been talking about another big cruise, but that seems a bit doubtful at the mo'. Barbara and I have agreed that we're going to take a 'New England in the Fall' cruise next year, though.
We didn't win the quiz in Champions today. It was called Hullabaloo, and really wasn't very good. Instead of the Syndicate Quiz, we went to the theatre to see the FlyRights in concert. Three black boys who sang Motown and such stuff.
A bit of gossip. There's a small, thin, smartly dressed woman on this ship, about 70, who appears to have made it her mission in life to upset everyone she meets. A few days ago, she told me she was getting off tomorrow (would have been interesting as it was a sea day)! She's smoked in her cabin and when the purser came to tell her off, lit up in front of him. She was extremely rude to people in BoS. She's caused a nuisance in the theatre and today threatened and swore at Linda and Rob in the lift. We're convinced she'll be offloaded in Rio. Time will tell.

Jan Can't wait for the next episode of the grumpy old lady. Maybe that is what she is on her own.
