The Awesome Adventures Boat arrived to take us to our next island Korovou. We arrived in time for lunch which was a social event with everyone round the same table. Pizza was on the menu, not the traditional type but a fresh offering with less cheese and more vegetables and salad, safe to say it was very yummy! It was all go and straight after was our Fijian cooking lesson, which was presented very well by the island chef. He mixed raw fish with lemon juice leaving it to marinate. Then sat on a stool with a point to grate the coconut on to create a thick coconut juice which he then served onto the marinated fish. Add in a load of vegetables and voila a tasty little dish and again very heathly. This island was quieter and we took a walk on the beach, relaxed by the pool and enjoyed another social supper. The next day and more relaxing - I manged to finish the second ice and fire book - and an older New Zealand couple arrived (Peter & Sharilyn) and we chatted to them throughout lunch. They were very well travelled and on the same package as us! More relaxing on the porch as the day was overcast and then another social supper. Tonight a culture dance show and we were made to get involved as well doing the bula dance! Next musical chairs - I won - though the last guy stood aside and let me have the chair mean while I was busy barging him out the way :D After another game with Martin and me on different sides, the aim to put a potato between the legs, run up high five the person at the end and then back and so on as then the next person goes. We were french fries and Martins team was mash potato! We lost 1-2 and then had to get up and do more dancing as a forfeit. Finally the numbers game getting into groups of the number called out! The next day time to leave, more reading, more games of s***head and lots fun as we headed to the next and final island....
