Today started wth a claming yoga session, which was relaxing and kinda painful afterwards! Had breakfast and managed to catch an hrs nap before leaving again to go to college and meet up with Nidhi and friends. We all got there a little late, so the first lecture of the day on Indian politics and history was unfortunately rushed, shame rally because it was the first one I had paid real interest in so far! Then we had an awesome physics lecture, which was so interactive and fun. I joined in on a couple of the interactive, volunteering activities. It was Nidhi's friends who were doing the presentation, so I took lots of pictures. We had feedback forms to complete aswell about the 3 days at Maytieri. We all then left for some shopping at Dilli Haat again. UK students went by bus and INdian students went there by rickshaw. Had a wonder about and bough some more bangles! (There is a worrying trend starting here!) and a camel skin diary for my sister, and I got a kutha (long Indian top) with a very expensive scarf. It was a lovely market, but then we had to say goodbye to our INdian buddies and head back to the hotel for a quick changeover into our traditional (newly bought) indian dress. Some people wore their Saari's but they had to get help putting them on!
We left for Sanskriti Kendra, a beautiful place about an hour from the hotel. Had a very interesting talk from a historian William Dalrymple, and then had the most amazing religious music ever y Sonam Kalra and the Sufi gospel project. It was touching I nearly cried. It really touched my heart.
Came back so late, I skipped dinner, then bed for a lie in tomorrow!
