Hi everyone,
Thanks for the comments! We love hearing from all of you! You are all special to us...please don't forget that!
Here we are driving on these beautiful roads with pine trees all along the side of the road and beautiful vistas everywhere. The weather is amazing. Cool in the mornings and nights and warm by day... fall is definitely here! Gary is becoming the master driver. I will attempt it sooon:) Great music on Pandora. Gary likes Fleetwood Mac (me too) and we both love Natalie Merchant, Sarah Mcloughlin, Adelle, and so many more amazing singers.
This is becoming quite a journey for us. We have time together like we have never had before and becoming a team working together. Gary is getting it down on the outside and I am keeping the inside together. I am learning to be a better cook since I have time and we are really loving eating healthy. It has been a big learning curve but we have overcome most of the beginning RV'er challenges.
Yoga, meditation, and running usually starts our days which is incredibly peaceful. The past week we spent time in Lassen National Park which was amazing in every way. Gary will talk about it.
"ON THE ROAD, AGAIN" with Gary: "Being in the mountains, is like coming home," John Muir. Writing this iParchment from Mammoth Lakes tonight.
Yesterday in Lassen National Park. I visited here 40 years ago, it was the summer following my freshman year in Veterinary School. I spent that summer working on a Cattle/Sheep ranch in Susanville, about 60 miles away and about 60 miles north of Reno. Yesterday, I remembered walking the same "Bumpass Hell" trail. Walking the Boardwall over an area rich with bubbling mud pots, steaming fumaroles and boiling water and steam everywhere. Really cool and just fascinating what comes out of our earth!!
Spending 24/7 with your spouse. Wow, double wow!! Could write a book (well almost) on this experience. It's like Laura and I are getting to know each other all over again, in a much more deeper and dependent way. We've had a few "testy" moments, but overall, I can honestly tell you it's been fantastic. Laura is primarily in charge with the inside of the RV. Her cooking has actually been outstanding > very healthy and very edible!! We also work closely together checking and double checking both inside and outside checklists before departing. Lot's to remember and difficult to remember everything and in the right order. We've made a lot of silly little mistakes/oversights, but fortunately nothing serious...
I was also going to add a "TECH CORNER" about life in the "driver's seat." Include an overview of all the gauges (lots), adjustable recliner chair, electrically adjustable accelerator and brake pedals, four mirrors, video screens... but I'll leave this for my next Iparchment discussion. However take a look at the today's photo gallery for cockpit views.
We wish you all the best, Stay healthy my friends!!

Mom I am loving your pictures and blogs. It brings back memories of our trailer and all the things that can go wrong! It all sounds so great. Keep enjoying.
